官方：威廉王子成为英足总赞助人，英足总主席一职暂时不会填补

7月24日讯英足总官方宣布，威尔士亲王威廉王子成为英足总的赞助人。

英足总在声明中写道：“我们很高兴地宣布，威尔士亲王殿下将成为英足总的赞助人。英足总的赞助人一职之前由英国女王伊丽莎白二世担任，在她去世后，皇室内务部对皇室赞助人和慈善机构主席一职进行了重大审查。”

“威尔士亲王殿下自2006年以来一直担任英足总主席一职，自1939年以来，王室成员一直为该组织的赞助人提供额外支持。鉴于威尔士亲王殿下在英足总的角色，主席一职暂时不会填补。”
